In India internet users are more conscious about their online safety and considering this safety factors, Google, the internet giant has rolled out many fresh features and resources. These interesting features point towards the greater cyber security.
The previous trends showcases that 20 percent of more searches have been done for “change password” and 97 percent searches for two step verification.
This kind of two-step verification requires more than just a password to sign in to the google account, a 6 digit code sent to your mobile which increases the security. As per the researches made by Google 591 percent more search is carried out for “how to track a lost phone”. To ramp up online security there are different initiatives including simplification of the security settings making it easier to send messages.
Google will drive multiple initiatives for creating awareness about online safety among the users of internet. As a support for these kinds of initiatives Google has decided to offer its users 2 GB extra Google drive storage on the completion of the security check up.
